    ANCCE in Wellington, Florida

On the 10th and 11th of February, a representation from ANCCE was present at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in Wellington, to participate in a seminar and meeting with American breeders.

Wellington is an equestrian area par excellence, and it has numerous, stud farms and top level, international equestrian centers. Of the 137 km2 in the village of Wellington, there are 57 miles (91 km) of equestrian routes. From October to May, the most important equestrian competitions and polo matches in the country are held in this area, including the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival, the Exquis World Dressage and the Nations Cup, as well as frequent CDI qualifiers for the national dressage and show-jumping teams.

First-hand information was obtained about the interest of USPRE breeder members in the qualities of the PRE for the discipline of dressage.
Janne Rumbough has done magnificent job with Gaucho (from Señorio de Bahrain), to the extent that he was considered the 7th best sire stallion in the USA during 2009, based on the results of his descendants (the list is made up of more than 1,000 horses).

Likewise, Courtney King-Dye, Olympic rider in Beijing, has been riding Grandioso, owned by Hampton Green Farm and bred by Marín García.
