Specific Criteria for the PRE Team going to the 2022 World Breeding Championship for Young Horses
The Championship will be held from the 8th to the 11th of September in Ermelo (Holland).
ANCCE will have a team to select the young PRE Horses; this team will participate in the 2022 Dressage World Breeding Championship for Young Horses. This team will include the Dressage Sub-Commission, with its corresponding president, national coach and international trainer.
A monthly clinic will be organized as of March where all the pairs that have earned at least the established minimal score as indicated by the criteria, will be on hand, if and when the health measures so allow. Places may be held by horses that fail to attain minimal scores, but when, in the opinion of the ANCCE selection team, are in a position to attain said scores. To the extent that it is possible, the March and April clinics will coincide with the Seasonal Sports Plan.
In an effort to reduce travel time, all clinics will be held at the appropriate equestrian facilities, near the site where the horses that have earned minimal scores are located.
Renowned national coach Daniel Martín Dockx will be training the selected pairs at the clinics, together with Jürgen Koschel as the international coach. This latter will be at the last clinic in July and at the competition in Ermelo.
The final selection and list of horses going to the Dressage World Breeding Championship for Young Horses will be drafted after the last qualifier competition in Spain. This event will be held in Segovia during the International Dressage Competition (CDIYH) and on the 2 or 3 days afterwards, depending on the candidates available.
Participation in the competition and later clinic is mandatory, both for pairs and their trainers. Should a pair be unable to attend, whatever the reason, the international coach or the selection team will decide the list to be sent to Spain’s Royal Equestrian Federation.

Should the Ermelo Organizing Committee arrange additional tests coinciding with the World Championship—which are usually announced shortly before they actually begin—the ANCCE Dressage trainer will announce those pairs that he considers will perform with the best possible results.
In due course, the calendar with the clinic dates for the PRE Team will be announced.
