Letter to members of ANCCE who are interested in collaborating on the various Work Commissions

First of all, I would like to thank you all for your willingness and enthusiasm when it came to signing up and participating in the various Commissions initially proposed from ANCCE, in an effort to attain greater breeder participation and improve the services we must provide all members.

Next, I would like to report about the excellent response this proposal has had. Consequently, an ample number of members have expressed their desire to work on the various Commissions. For that reason, we have thought it a good idea for you to design small projects with which the Commission of your choice can implement changes, improvements and contents.

So, I would ask you to send a short summary of those guidelines you consider that your Commission of choice should follow and send these to me before the 8th of September. Please include the following aspects:

    a) What would you eliminate and why?

    b) What would you incorporate?

    c) What purposes and objectives must the commission pursue?

Lastly, it might be a good idea to remind you—although many already know this—that members of the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee and the members of the various Commissions are volunteer tasks with no economic compensation. These members receive nothing for the time and efforts invested. Undoubtedly, the efforts dedicated to ANCCE and to the Purebred Spanish Horse will, in the long-run, be beneficial for us all. To harvest success, we must plant now with our eyes set on unselfish efforts with a sole objective, which is to magnify the Purebred Spanish Horse.

Further information will be sent out as the various activities are launched. Of course, our doors are always open to you for consultation and suggestions that you might want to contribute.

    Juan Tirado
    President
