Prior to the World Young Horse Championship, ANCCE will celebrate "Spanish PRE Day" in Germany

On Saturday, the 1st of August, between 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, at the Westphalia Equestrian Center (Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V.), in Münster (Germany), the PRE Team will be holding its last meeting prior to moving on to Verden 2026.

For a second consecutive year, ANCCE has chosen the Westphalia Equestrian Center facilities (Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch e.V.), in Münster (Germany), to hold the last PRE Team meeting prior to participating in the 2026 World Breeding Championships for Young Horses. At this venue, the pairs will polish off details before leaving for their world appointment in Verden.

Located outside the town of Münster, the Westphalia Equestrian Center offers state-of-the-art facilities for training and the preparation of equine athletes. Renovated in 2022, the facilities are currently undergoing further modernization. The complex features spacious and functional areas that meet the highest standards, to offer ideal conditions for maximum-quality training.

In response to requests from equestrian professionals and the Westphalian Breeders’ Association, ANCCE will be hosting open house titled “Spanish PRE Day", on Saturday, the 1st of August, from 8:30 am until 1:00 pm, at the meeting venue. The objective is to introduce Purebred Spanish Horses (PRE) to owners, breeders, riders, equestrian professionals, and enthusiasts by providing them with an opportunity to witness the PRE Team’s final training session before participating in the World Breeding Championships for Young Horses.

During the Open House, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the team members, the head coach, and ANCCE representatives in person. These will present the sports program and the horses representing the PRE breed at this significant international event. Open House will conclude with a glass of Spanish wine for attendees and team members.

Moreover, the Spanish PRE Day celebration coincides with the 2026 Westphalia Week, which is one of the most important events on the German equestrian calendar. That week, the Westphalian Equestrian Center will host competitions for young Westphalian horses. This event summons numerous breeders and riders. Likewise, on Saturday, the 1st of August, the prestigious Dressage Foal Auction will be held.  This annual, landmark event brings together buyers and enthusiasts from a wide range of countries.

The fact that these two events coincide offers Purebred Spanish Horses an excellent opportunity to  showcase the breed before a highly specialized and international audience at one of Europe’s leading venues for horse breeding and equestrian sports.
