    Gold for Santiago HGF at the CDI4* Held at the TerraNova Equestrian Center (Florida, USA)


    This past weekend, a number of international Dressage Competitions were held in several countries. One such event was held at the TerraNova Equestrian Center, in Myakka City (Florida, USA), which hosted a CDI4*. Another important event on the calendar was held in Portugal, at the Alter do Chão facility. 

    In the USA, the horse Santiago HGF, bred and owned by Hampton Green Farm with Antonio Jose Crespin in the saddle, earned the gold medal in the class for 5-year-old horses.
    The pair offered an outstanding performance, to conclude with an average of 81.200% in the Preliminary and 79.200% in the Final.

    Meanwhile, in Portugal, the 6-year-old mare, Mencia de Moran, owned by Yeguada Moran, bred by Pena and ridden by Claudio Castilla, placed third in the Preliminary thanks to an average of 76.400%.

    2026 PRE Team
    With the conclusion of these CDI4* events, the horses listed below will be included on the list of young horses with the necessary averages to be part  of the PRE Dressage Team selection process for the 2026 Dressage World Breeding Championship for Young Horses:

    5-year-olds Class
    - Santiago HGF with a score of 81.200% (Hampton Green Farm).

    6-year-old Class
    - Mencia de Moran with a score of 76.400% (Yeguada Moran).
