Quality certification for the LG-PRE-ANCCE Stud Book management. –ISO 9001:2008-

Taking another step towards modernization, transparency and efficiency, it is our pleasure to inform you that that the LG-PRE-ANCCE Stud Book has certified its quality according to the requirements of UNE-EN ISO 9001:2008 standards, and has done so through AENOR (Asociación Española de Normalización y Certificación), which is Spain’s Association for Standards and Certification.

To achieve this priority objective established by ANCCE executives and it being a commitment with MARM (Ministry of Agriculture) authorities, major efforts have been undertaken.  Although the starting point was correct, the demands of the certification agency cover all areas of our activities: breeders, appointed veterinarians, international associations, laboratory, main office, and of course, the computerized management tool that responds to all the needs and incidences of our management. Thus, the efforts of many have had a direct influence on the qualitative improvement of the PRE Stud Book.

The scope of the certification covers the presentation of services for PRE horse breeders. This recognition covers the European Union through IQNet certification.   Nevertheless, the prestige of the accredited firms goes beyond the borders of each country where the PRE is bred, no matter what its geographical location may be.

We are the first Association managing a Stud Book to certify its management model. As in the case of many others, ANCCE is consolidating its reputation at the forefront of the equine sector, with the sole objective of providing PRE breeders with services. The importance of obtaining this quality certification must be added to the work carried out in the past few years, which can be summarized as:

    • MORE THAN 50,000 FOALS REGISTERED
    • MORE THAN 21,000 BASIC EVALUATIONS
    • MORE THAN 95,000 ANALYSIS, OF WHICH 45,000 WERE FREE OF CHARGE
    • MORE THAN 5,000 NEW BREEDERS
    • MORE THAN 10,000 STUD FARMS UPDATED
    • MORE THAN 45,000 OWNERSHIP CARDS
    • MORE THAN 20,000 CHANGES OF OWNERSHIP
    • MORE THAN 220,000 REQUESTS FOR SERVICE HANDLED
