ANCCE has created a register of Stud Farms collaborating with the Selection Program

In compliance with Article 15 of Royal Decree 2129/2008 which establishes the National Program for the Conservation, Improvement and Promotion of Livestock Breeds, ANCCE has created a register of Stud Farms collaborating with the Selection Program.  This register is updated yearly, and for all practical purposes (requesting subsidies, grants, etc.) a Collaborating Stud Farm is considered one that owns at least one horse that appears in the LG-PRE-ANCCE Stud Book and that has participated in any of the officially established performance controls, included within the framework of the said improvement plan.  These controls may be for Conformation, Dressage or Riding, and are held each natural year to perform genetic evaluations and undertake the corresponding dissemination of the improvements, in keeping with the Dissemination Program established by ANCCE.   You may consult the ANCCE web site for the dates of each control.  Should you have any doubts, please contact Pedro Azor at the following e-mail address: pjazor@lgancce.com Each collaborating stud farm must be associated with the code/s assigned for its registration in the General Register of Livestock Farms (abbreviated REGA in Spanish) as contemplated in Royal Decree 479/2004 dated the 26th of March, which establishes and regulates the said General Register of Livestock Farms.
