    Important promotional activities in Marocco

ANCCE had an informative stand at the second edition of the El Jadida Horse Fair, held in Morocco from the 21st to the 26th of October at the Princess Lalla Malika Hippodrome coinciding with an International Show Jumping Competition. This second edition of the Salon du Cheval in El Jadida has surpassed the 150,000 visitor mark.

Promotional activities included giving out informative materials, clarifying and attending to the doubts and questions presented by those visiting the stand, and participating in interviews with three Moroccan TV channels.  Important contacts were made by the President of ANCCE, Javier Conde, the PRE Stud Book Manager, Pedro Rey and Manuel Rey, the Technical Director of Laboratorio NBT with Dr. Coen, the Director of the Stud Book for all Breeds in Morocco.  Likewise, King Mohamed VI visited the ANCCE Stand, and he was welcomed with a copy of The PRE Horse Book on behalf of all ANCCE members. A large number of Spanish breeders were on hand in Morocco, including Augusto Romero Haupold, Ignacio Candau, Macarena Lazo, Francisco del Águila, José Díaz Solís, Manuel Fernández, José Varo, Juan Tirado, Jaime Pujol and Aureo Hernández, among others. Many of them enjoyed a guided tour of the two PRE stud farms that the Royal Guard has in Tetouan.
The Royal School of Equestrian Art also participated in the Fair with twenty horses who offered Tbourida Show. This year, with Morocco being the guest of honor at SICAB, many were interested in visiting the Trade Fair in Sevilla.   There will be an important representation from the armed forces, who were interested in the PRE, as well as the fantasy show, samples of Moroccan culture and craft work.   Morocco is still an emerging market, but we are sure that the results will be very interesting.
