ANCCE Promotes PRE Horses in China

ANCCE had a promotional stand at the China Horse Fair, which took place at the Chinese International Expo Center in Beijing, from the 25th to the 27th of October.

At the stand, many queries about the PRE horse, its main qualities, and about SICAB were answered.  We were delighted to have a conference about the PRE, which was attended by many, as well as to meet with representatives of different equestrian and breeder associations, along with various news outlets, including equestrian and high-income viewers.  These allowed the establishment of relationships in order to continue the promotion of the PRE in the future.

At Beijing, we noticed the efforts of Spaniards to promote the PRE, with stands from Caballos Llargués, Yeguada La Paloma, the Extremadura PRE Association, and the Castellano-Manchego PRE Association.
Also, representatives of the Mater Christi, Flor de Lirio, and Gloria Rocafort stud farms were present.

China is begging to have an interest in horse riding and offers an immense market share.  It has 800 equestrian clubs, of which 40% are located within Beijing, which has a population that exceeds 30 million inhabitants.  Currently, exportation from the EU can only be carried out through the Netherlands and France, while Spain is currently negotiating an export agreement.

So far, 40 PRE horses have been exported to China in the last two years.
