For a Second Consecutive Year, SICAB Earns the Category as an International Trade Fair in Spain
SICAB, the International Purebred Spanish Horse Trade Fair has been officially included on Spain’s International Trade Fair Calendar. This list is drafted by the Secretary of State for Commerce, which depends upon Spain’s Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business. For a second consecutive year, this recognition lists SICAB as the only equestrian trade fair in Spain with this recognition.
On the 5th of February of this year, Spain’s Official Gazette (BOE) published the resolution in issue number 31. As a milestone for SICAB, This acknowledgment was possible thanks to a strict independent auditing process that evaluated the origin of both visitors and exhibitors over the past three editions. Not only is this a milestone for SICAB, but the news confirms that the event will once again appear on this select list of 2025 International Trade Fairs. Likewise, SICAB is the only international equestrian trade fair held in Spain.
Over the years, SICAB has become a venue of international relevance as it summons more than 200,000 visitors from 18 countries every year. Moreover, its digital coverage on SICAB.TV has made the show accessible to a world-wide audience with more than 360,000 viewers from 74 different countries. This acknowledgement reinforces SICAB’s position as one of the world’s most important equestrian events, the international impact of which increases year after year.
