New Competition Rules & Regulations for 2025 ANCCE Cup for Dressage
The 2025 Competition Rules and Regulations for the ANCCE Cup for Dressage are now available and accessible on the ANCCE website. ANCCE is firmly commitment to Dressage; thus, as one of this year’s main novelties is the creation of an international ranking for SICAB qualifier competitions abroad.
Likewise, the 30% discount for full-fledged members of ANCCE when entering horses at these competitions has been maintained for this year.
The main changes include:
- Create a Special International Competition category (hereinafter SIC) for those national competitions held abroad.
- At the Grand Prix level, horses that fail to attain an average above 64.000% for any of their two entries into the arena at 3-star or 2-star CDN events or an average greater than 63.000% at CDI or Spanish National Championships, will not obtain points for the ranking.
* RANKING DIFFERENTIATION*
- The three best results shall be taken into consideration, both for the National and International Rankings (only one qualification per competition).
- Horses participating in a CDI, 3-star National Dressage Championships, 2-star National Dressage Championships and ANCCE Young Horse Selection Tests (PSCJ) shall qualify using the NATIONAL RANKING.
- Horses participating in Special International Competitions (SIC) shall qualify using the INTERNATIONAL RANKING.
For the National Ranking, the following horses qualify:
- 15 horses at the 4, 5, 6 and 7-year old levels
- 13 horses at the Prix St Georges and Grand Prix levels
- 5 horses at the Junior levels
For the International Ranking, the following horses qualify:
- 2 horses at the 4, 5, 6 and 7-year old levels
- 1 horse at the Prix St Georges and Grand Prix levels
For the International Ranking and in case of equal points for second place for 4, 5, 6 and 7-year olds, and in first place for Prix St Georges and Grand Prix, the tie will be resolved as indicated in the Rules & Regulations.
In the case of the ANCCE Cup Final, should any of the horses on the international ranking fail to formalize their entry correctly and on time, said contestant shall not occupy places due to rank shifting on the National Ranking.
Rank shifting for the International Ranking: there is no rank shifting for the ANCCE Cup Final at SICAB. Only the number of horses described above may access the Final, with any unfilled place remaining vacant.
The dates for the ANCCE Cup qualifier competitions run from January 1st until October 19th of this year 2025. Competitions planned by the Organizing Committees at the same venues during the period between October 1st and October 19th are not allowed.
The following remain unaltered:
- All International Dressage Competitions (CDI) held in Spain and the Spanish National Championships that qualify for the ANCCE Cup for Dressage.
- The Final for the ANCCE Young Horse Selection Tests (PSCJ ANCCE) maintains the 1.4 coefficient for the qualifier points, in an effort to continue to promote the contribution of data to the PRE Breeding Program.
- Those Organizing Committees that upload videos and broadcast competitions live on the Official ANCCE Competition Web/App are exempt from the paying the competition entry fee on the official 2025 ANCCE calendar.
