    The TEAM ANCCE begins

This season, five horse-rider combinations will compete in the dressage arenas of Spain, sponsored by ANCCE.

Following the initial summons for ANCCE scholarships for 5, 6 and 7 year-old horses, the selected horses, based on their results in 2008 were:

LATIGO VI, 6 years old, bred by Hnos. Rodríguez-Arias and owned by Magín Mateu.
JEQUE XXVII, 7 years old, bred by Joaquín Márquez and owned by Cortijo El Robledal
ARMAS ZARZEÑO, 6 years old, bred by Plaza de Armas and owned by of Orientalia Hispana
PILATOS, 5 years old, owned by Yeguada El Moralejo
ENORME, 7 years old, owned by Yeguada Susaeta
All horses will be competing with the prefix “ANCCE” during 2009 and will enjoy an €800 monthly payment to help to finance their training and competition expenses. We hope they continue with the successes they have shown to date, and finish the year leading the classification for horses at their age level.

From now on, the objective is to increase the number of people who know about this ANCCE initiative, and to have a good cast of horses at the end of year to select the 2010 team.
