It is the only equestrian trade fair in Spain with this recognition.

For the very first time, the Secretariat of Commerce at Spain’s Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism has included SICAB (International Horse Trade Fair) on the list of trade fairs with the most international projection among those organized in the country.

On December 1st of last year, a resolution was published in the Official State Gazette. Said publication states that SICAB has entered the select group of international fairs in Spain. Therefore, this event is the only equestrian fair held with this status in the nation. 

The approval procedure includes an independent audit that analyzed and assessed the origin of both visitors and exhibitors over the past three (3) years. In this case, the 2019, 2021 and 2022 events were used as a reference. In 2020, SICAB was one of the few events held in Spain, although access was extremely restricted.

Representatives from ICEX (Spain’s Institute for Foreign Trade) visited the most recent editions of SICAB.  They have issued reports that have been taken into consideration together with additional documents the auditors.

Annually, SICAB summons more than 200,000 visitors from 70 countries. Likewise, the event is broadcast live and on demand via SICAB.TV and ClipMyHorse.TV, with more than 300,000 views from 73 different countries.
