Two Purebred Spanish Horses at CHIO Aachen 2021

The Dressage season always has a not-to-be-missed appointment: CHIO Aachen. This year, the dates have been changed and the event will be held from the 15th to the 19th of September rather than the second week of June as has been customary. The emblematic Deutsche Bank Stadium in Aachen (Germany) will house the famous 5-star Nations Cup and the 4-star CDI event where two PRE Horses will be participating: Malagueño LXXXIII and Poeta de Susaeta.

Spain’s Royal Equestrian Federation recently announced the names of the Spanish quartet for the Aachen Nations Cup. Included in this group is PRE Malagueño LXXXIII, owned by Francisco Santiago Ruiz, with Olympic rider Jose Daniel Martín Dockx holding the reins. The Grand Prix begins on September 17th (this Friday) at 8:30 am. Later, the 30 best classified will compete in the Grand Prix Special on Saturday the 18th at noon. The event concludes on Sunday, the 19th of September with the musical test, which is reserved for the top 18 pairs.

Prix St. Georges will be at 10 am, on Thursday, the 16th of September, while Intermediate I will be the following day at 5:00 pm.
