The ANCCE Executive Committee has approved the 2021 Conformation-Functionality Competition Rules. As has been the case previously, these Rules are divided into two differentiated sections: Conformation Competition Rules and Judging Rules

Likewise, 57 competitions on the official ANCCE calendar have been categorized as 3*, 2* and 1* events, as established by the Rules (Article 10)

When it comes to the 2021 Competition Rules, there are a number of variations. The most outstanding include:

- Horses listed in the LG PRE ANCCE Stud Book as non-breeding stock (Article 15) may not compete in this event.
- Clarification when a judge eliminates a horse already in the arena (Article 42).
- Horses must perform three consecutive rounds at canter (Article 52).
- Helmet must be worn at all times (Article 36a).

Currently, the Official Conformation Competition Calendar included 58 competitions, with the first of them being the 9th PRE Competition in Nicaragua. This event will be held from the 18th to the 21st of March in Granada (Nicaragua).
