    General Aspects for Participants

Entries will be considered final once they have been paid in full. Once an entry has been paid, and the entry deadline has been reached, said amount will not be returned, whatever the reason.

If you are interested in reserving a stall to be used as a tack room, the fee is €200 for Full-Fledged Members and €300 for all other participants. Contracting a box is subject to availability. In any case, the Organizers are not responsible for theft of goods in the stall.

To safeguard against such events, you may also rent a shed with lock and key (work shed, limited numbers) to use it as a tack room. You may use it individually or share with another stud farm. The rental fee is €400 for Full-Fledged Members and €500 for all other participants. As has been the case at previous editions, there is a €150 deposit to guarantee the care and cleaning of the shed. Once SICAB concludes, and the corresponding verifications have been made, this deposit will be returned. Nevertheless, should there be defects that exceed the €150 deposit, these will be invoiced separately to the person or persons who requested this service.

Whether you reserve a stall or a shed, the rental agreement is weekly, even if you are planning to participate both weeks.

The Organizers reserve the right to perform doping tests.

    Stabling:
Should a breeder participate in Dressage and bring the rest of or other horses a week prior to their participation in Conformation, said breeder shall pay €100 for each additional horse as stabling for those horses. The same holds true for horses that have concluded their participation in Dressage and remain at the FIBES facilities until the Conformation Competition has finished, even if they do not participate.

All fees indicated in this newsletter, whether entry fees, the reservation of stalls or sheds, are subject to 21% VAT (value added tax).

The entry form for the various sports and competitions is included below. Remember that a maximum number of participants has been established for each category.

    [PDF] Entry Form

If you prefer, there is an online entry form. Go the Private Zone for Breeders on the PRE Stud Book web site using your user name and password. In the section “Competitions” you will find the SICAB 2020 Entry Form.

Conformation Entry Form: you MUST us the online system for this competition.

There are several payment options: on the actual web site, by bank transfer or in cash.

    Documentation to be Presented

Original and photocopy of the PRE Passport together with an Official Veterinarian Certificate that the horse has been disinfected in origin, as well as all other 2020 Animal Health and Well-Bing Mandates.

Please be informed that at this year’s edition, we are not going to attend requests “to be next to” as each triangle and stabling area are dedicated to a specific discipline.

As has been the case at previous editions, participant may purchase hard feed, oats, alfalfa, straw and shavings based on individual needs. The initial bedding is provided free of charge.

Regarding the prize money for the winners of the various disciplines, the Organizers offer a fixed amount, from which the corresponding and legally established taxes or deductions will then be applied.

    Federation License:
All participants in the various disciplines, both horses and riders, must be federated (a valid territorial license).

    Life Insurance:
Breeders are reminded that the Organizers do not offer life insurance for horses. Legally, all horses entering and participating in SICAB 2020 must be covered by Liability Insurance.

Being that all horses participating in the various ANCCE Cup Completions are federated, they are covered by Spain’s Equestrian Federation insurance. Thus, there is no need for them to count on insurance offered by the Organizers.

Horses participating in the Conformation Competition must have their own Liability Insurance, which may be contracted on the Entry Form. The fee will appear automatically when you pay for the online entry.

In the case of a veterinarian emergency, breeders need to remember that travel expenses to and care of horses at animal hospitals negotiated by the Organizers must be paid by the owner of the affected horse.
