Three PREs pre-selected for the FEI Dressage European Championship for Youth

Following the indications of the National Trainer Jenny Eriksson, Spain’s Royal Equestrian Federation (RFHE) has recently published the list of pre-selected horses for the FEI Dressage European Championship for Youth in the categories for Children and Juniors. This event will be held in Budapest (Hungary) from the 9th to the 14th of August.

It is noteworthy that of the eight pre-selected horse/rider pairs, three are Purebred Spanish Horses, one of which is in the Junior category. It has been some time now since a PRE representative has been seen in this category at inter-continental events. Once again, this triple European participation shows that PRE horses are also an excellent option for Juniors.

In the category for Juniors, Resuelto AS, owned by Guillen Callejas and bred by Antonio San Roman Moran will be competing with Javier Guillen holding the reins. This pair earned first place in the category Juvenil 0* at SICAB 2019, with an accumulated score of 68.944%.

When it comes to the category for Children, this year there is a double participation of Purebred Spanish Horses, with two pre-selected pairs. The first is Cocktail, ridden by Claudia Lledo, owned by Antonio Fco. Lledo Signes; this pair repeats for a second consecutive year in this Dressage European Championship for Youth. Likewise, this same pair placed third in the category for Children at SICAB 2019, with a score of 66.447%.
