Selection Specifics for the 2020 World Dressage Championship for Young Horses
These specifics, agreed to among Spain’s Royal Equestrian Federation (RFHE), ANCADES and ANCCE, are the same as in 2019. Participants need to enter the competition arena at least three times; of these participations, at least two must be at CDI events with a score greater than 75% in the case of 5 and 6-year old horses, and 70% in the case of 7-year-old horses.

SPECIFIC RULES FOR THE PRE TEAM
ANCCE counts on Bert Rutten as the trainer for the PRE Team participating in the World Championship. One clinic per month will be organized for horse/rider pairs as they attain the minimal established criteria for qualification. Places may be completed with horses that have not yet attained the established averages, but that based on the criteria of the trainer and the ANCCE Dressage Commission have the ability to attain said average.
All meetings will be organized at venues near the location of the participating horses with minimal scores to reduce possible travel.
The selection clinics in June will coincide with the Dressage Selection Masters by Spain’s Royal Equestrian Federation. Attendance is mandatory for those pairs wanting to participate in the World Championship. The decision regarding the selection of PRE Team members is the exclusive responsibility of the trainer.
If the Verden Organizing Committee organizes tests in addition to the World Championship (as was the case in Ermelo, with tests for stallions, 4-year-olds and for 8 and 9-year-olds, etc.), and given that these are announced with insufficient time, the ANCCE Dressage Commission will select those pairs considered to be able to offer a good performance.
