The Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses began at 10 am with 5-year-olds. In this category, two PRE Horses enter the arena for the preliminary test. First was Sólo de Centurión, owned by Yeguada Centurión and ridden by Lucas Marín. They obtained an average of 7.34 thanks to a very clean test, with good, correct balance and showing good presentation. This earned them a 7.6 in submission.
The team’s most brilliant moment came when Alba Abollo riding Molinero FS, owned by Yeguada Arroyomonte, earned their best score of the season: 8.20. Their presentation was flawless in all three paces; there were impressive moments at trot, and they performed a magnificent test, which grants them options for the final. They are among the top 15 riders in the world.
Annabell Collins riding Máximo BCN represented Bermuda. They performed a very correct test, with an outstanding trot and an elegant presentation to earn them an average of 6.76.
In CDI1* Prix St. Georges, José Daniel Martín Dockx and Ataturc DUC, owned by Hampton Green Farm and bred by Yeguada Ducal, performed a high-level test. They were very exact and obtained a final average of 67.010%.
We will keep a watchful eye on the final classification.
