    Three PRE horses have been chosen to participate at international competitions in Ermelo and Aachen 2017

    Poeta de Susaeta will represent Spain at the World Young Horse Championship; meanwhile Vetusto JV I will participate in CDI 1* at Ermelo and Ícaro MG in CDI 4* in Aachen

    The technical office for Dressage at Spain’s Royal Equestrian Federation, in agreement with the National Selection Committee and in collaboration with ANCCE as a member of the WBFSH have chosen two horses and riders to participate in the upcoming CDI4* to be held in Aachen (Germany) from the 17th to the 23rd of July and at the World Dressage Championship for Young Horses to be held in Ermelo (Holland) from the 3rd to the 6th of August.

    Among the participating horses and riders, there are three outstanding Purebred Spanish Horses. On the one hand, Ícaro MG, owned by Hierro MG ES, bred by Yeguada Candau and ridden by Claudio Castilla will be participating. This horse will participate with a second horse/rider in the CDI 4* (Big Tour) in Aachen. Also, Poeta de Susaeta from Yeguada Susaeta, ridden by Guillermo García, will represent Spain in the category for 5-year-olds at the World Championship for Young Horses while Vetusto JV I, owned by Caballería Esteve-Agrapur, bred by Yeguada Juan Vázquez and ridden by Juan Lecina, will compete in in Ermelo in CDI 1* “Approved Stallions” (Prix St. Georges), a class created just this year.

    ANCCE will be attending the latter Competition, represented by Ignacio Candau Cruz-Conde, member of the Executive Committee and Manuel González López, the Executive Secretary. They will be on hand to support and welcome Spanish Horses, owners, the participating riders and attend members, national and international breeders and representatives from other associations and European breeds.
