José Daniel Martín Dockx & Grandioso were brilliant! They were the only PRE tandem at Rio 2016: 70.828% for their Grand Prix Performance

For Grandioso and José Daniel Martín Dockx, this is the second time that they attend the Olympics. Grandioso is now 17 and the only Purebred Spanish Horse on the team. Owned by Hampton Green Farm in the US and bred by Yeguada Marín García, he performed a flawless test—as always—at a time of maximum pressure, but he has maintained his stance.

His piaffes improved as the test progressed and he offered quality transitions. With very correct changes, especially two-time changes, he performed most outstanding pirouettes. Both were sensational, well executed, on the spot and springy.
The final score was 70.829% (12th in the classification).
