The Tribunals for Qualified Breeding Stock (TQB) are events organized by ANCCE to assess a horse’s conformational (morphological) and/or functional characteristics, as well as its biomechanics and movement.  The three basic paces are assessed: walk, trot and canter (elasticity, straightness, impulsion, balance, cadence, strength, regularity, rhythm, length of stride, suspension and coordination).  Behavior is also taken into consideration, as well as reproductive and health features, all in keeping with the established procedure.  

To participate in these tribunals, horses must not only be registered in the PRE Stud Book Breeding Stock Register. Moreover, all participating horses must provide the corresponding certificate, issued by the University of Cordoba Clinical Veterinarian Hospital interpretation center, indicating that they are free of OCD (osteochondritis dissecans).  Once considered (Approved) APT, all TQB horses are listed in the PRE Stud Book Register as Qualified Breeding Stock.
