Spanish High School (also known as Alta Escuela) is a sport where the Purebred Spanish Horse excels more than any other breed. This sport came into being based on the definition of the breed as seen during the Golden Age. It could be said that Alta Escuela is the umbilical cord of the Purebred Spanish Horse, as it was essential to have a horse that met the demands of the palace shows.
