02/07/2010 LG-PRE-ANCCE Stud Book maintains prices despite tax increase |
As contemplated in his election plan, Javier Conde has announced that all Stud Book fees will remain the same, in spite of the increase in VAT (Value Added Tax), which has been hiked from 16 to 18%.
The Stud Book will incorporate this tax increase without any repercussions for breeders, as established in the 2010 budget approved at the last Assembly meeting.
The current Board of Directors is committed to maintaining fees throughout the next four (4) years, no matter what the tax situation in Spain may be.
Due to the lack of legal dispositions to articulate the new tax rates, the disposition specifying tax percentages can be found in Legislation 26/2009 of the General Budget (of Spain), BOE (Official State Gazette) issue 309 dated 24/12/2009, in preamble VII and article 79 of Chapter II.
